Glorious Gospel Music Will Ring Through the Smoky Mountains During NQC 2021

Week-Long Celebration is Less Than a Month Away!

 
 

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. – NQC 2021, presented by Christian Healthcare Ministries, is set to welcome thousands of Gospel music lovers to Pigeon Forge, TN's LeConte Center this fall from September 26 - October 2, 2021. The annual event returns after being postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and fans from around the country are eagerly anticipating the return.

"This year will be extra special!" said NQC Executive Vice President, Clarke Beasley. “With having to suspend the event last year for the first time in 63 years, this year will be like a family reunion as the Gospel Music family is able to convene again at our annual Convention. I am expecting many special moments during the event.”

Nightly concerts featuring award-winning, beloved artists will anchor the festivities during the annual event. Artists include: Hoppers, Greater Vision, Mark Trammell Quartet, Jim & Melissa Brady, Isaacs, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Erwins, Joseph Habedank, Legacy Five, Tribute Quartet, Guardians, Perrys, Karen Peck & New River, Collingsworth Family, Booth Brothers, Kingdom Heirs, Jeff & Sheri Easter and so many more!

Additionally, attendees will experience special showcases and inspirational speakers.

NQC 2021 Highlights include:

  • Kickoff Concert on Sunday, September 26, 2021 featuring Endless Highway, Greater Vision, Guardians, Hoppers, Jim & Melissa Brady, Kramers, Mark Trammell Quartet, The Perrys and Isaacs

  • Speakers: Dr. James Merritt - one of the most dynamic, Gospel-centered preachers on air today – will speak on Tuesday during a special showcase and Dr. Robert Jeffress – Popular Pastor/Author/Speaker and Fox News contributor from First Baptist Dallas, TX – will be our keynote speaker on Thursday with Dr. David Jeremiah - author, pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church and host of Turning Point for God – speaking on Friday afternoon.

  • The SGMA will hold their Hall of Fame Induction and Concert on Tuesday - honoring Karen Peck Gooch, Jack Clark, Marlin Taylor and Aaron Wilburn (posthumously)

  • Special Showcase Spectaculars throughout the week include: Person to Person with The Booth Brothers, Greater Vision's 30th Anniversary Celebration & Reunion, An Afternoon with the Collingsworth Family, Dennis Swanberg Comedy, and Gold City's 40th Anniversary Celebration & Reunion,

  • The 51st Annual Singing News Fan Awards will be held on Friday afternoon

NQC 2021 will feature a new seating arrangement that recieved an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees at the NQC Fall Festival in 2020, which was held in place of the annual event. The NQC Board of Directors made the announcement earlier this year.

ABOUT NQC:
NQC - the National Quartet Convention - was founded in 1957 by gospel music legend and former backup vocalist for Elvis Presley, J.D. Sumner who co-produced the event with James Blackwood. The annual convention was moved in later years to Nashville, TN and then to Louisville, KY where it was held for 20 years. NQC is currently held at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.
