The Miss Volunteer America Pageant is not just a beauty competition; it goes beyond physical appearance to recognize young women who are dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities through volunteer work. This prestigious event shines a spotlight on exceptional individuals who exemplify the values of service, compassion, and leadership.
Attendees can expect an unforgettable evening of entertainment, inspiration, and the opportunity to witness the crowning of the new Miss Volunteer America 2024. The inaugural Miss Volunteer America, Alexa Knutzen, was crowned last year on May 7, 2022. Hailing from Utah, Knutzen has served the past year with grace, poise, and has represented the Miss Volunteer America pageant system excellently.
The Miss Volunteer America organization is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities.
Titleholders from all 50 states and the District of Columbia are preparing for the national competition, where over $125,000 of scholarship money and prizes will be awarded, and they will represent their respective states in the national finals for Miss Volunteer America in Jackson, Tennessee.
Miss Volunteer America 2024 will be crowned during the national finals on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and will be livestreamed on PageantsLive.com!
Founded by Allison DeMarcus, the spirit of service is at the very heart of the Miss Volunteer America program. Miss Volunteer America partners nationally with the Salvation Army, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Additionally, they will be launching a new national philanthropic partnership during pageant week.
